About Daan Utsav
Daan Utsav is a great platform that brings together people from all walks of life and encourages them to celebrate "Giving" – time, money, material, skill or just love.
This festival is like Diwali, Id, or Christmas, except it celebrates "Giving" across all religions, castes, and social strata.
Volunteer Services Organization (VSO), a social unit of Manipal University with more than 4000 registered volunteers salutes Gandhiji's act of giving by participating in DaanUtsav 2016 for the 4th consecutive year by launching various community projects which are aimed to spread smiles by touching the life of others in Manipal, Udupi and Mangalore.
